Yesterday, Gaile Gray took to the forums to let everyone know that ANet banned over 3,000 botters! Anyone that has played GW2 has to have, at some point, come across the random group of 10 players farming the same kill over and over. Or my personal favorite, the three player characters all running together from farming node to farming node, all synchronized in their own creepy robotic fashion. Well, no more says ANet. The banhammer was dropped. Here is what Gaile had to say:
Well done, ANet. Only thing that could have made this better is a giant running around with a massive pink inflatable hammer performing the bans. Or even better, make it an event. Oh my, I am getting excited…ANet please! I want my very own pink inflatable hammer.

Back in GW1 I remember a day when they hit some 60,000 in one day.
