On Saturday, August 25, ArenaNet will open its servers to the world of Guild Wars 2 prepurchasers with head-start access. When they set foot in Tyria for the first time, an entire world of content awaits them.
But for some, the contents of that world are still a mystery. Crafting disciplines remain untouched, professions remain unexplored. You make a daunting number of decisions when you first create a character, and we’re here to ensure that your early decisions are well-informed.

WELCOME TO CALEDON FOREST
Caledon Forest is the starting area for the Sylvari. Located to the north of The Grove, the race’s capital city, Caledon Forest contains 18 hearts, 18 waypoints, 20 points of interest, seven skill points to seek and eight vistas to view.

Hopefully everyone is enjoying the beta weekend as much as we are here at Guild Wars Insider. If you are rolling a new asura character, you are going to be starting off in Metrica Province – and we want you to get as much out of the zone as you can. Below is a map highlighting the important areas and some of the best spots for dynamic events.
