Wooden Potatoes is back with a new video that details the origins of the Asura and a theory that, if true, could point to them betraying us all. Be sure to hit that subscribe button as WP churns out some excellent GW2 content.

We’ve known for a little while that ArenaNet has been planning a big November update. Forum posts in red have all but stated that the reason Halloween couldn’t be extended for those affected by Hurricane Sandy was because Bellevue was planning yet another major update for November 15th. Here it is!
The Lost Shores
November 2012
Something stirs in the Sea of Sorrows…
Unravel a mystery of monstrous proportions in The Lost Shores, a massive one-time world event that will change Tyria forever!
For those that aren’t up on their Tyrian geography, the Sea of Sorrows is the large body of water bound by Kryta to the north, the Southern Shiverpeaks to the east, and Maguuma to the west. Here’s a helpful map.
ArenaNet has also thrown out some screenshots to with the unveiling.
While it is too early to say what, exactly, the new content, we here at GWI can say that there is a currently unnamed elder dragon. Known for now as the Deep Sea Dragon, it is the reason that the Krait and Quaggan have been pushed from their oceanic homes to the shores of Tyria. What are your thoughts on what The Lost Shores update may be about? Let us know in the comments!

As the Halloween season slouches closer and closer, I thought it might be time for a story.
It is a tale of despair, death, and despotism.
Of lunatics and rioters.
Of madness and of murder.
Of carnage…and of candy corn.
This is the Tale of Mad King Thorn.

This week Washednblood and Wormwood put on their tinfoil hats to talk about some of the crazy theories that have been floating around the internet. Are the sylvari really dragon minions that have been set free? Are the dragons related to the human gods? The answers can be found in All Roads Lead to Orr!

This week Wormwood and I discuss four of the story mode dungeons and offer some general tips on how to deal with this content. Plus, the Megadestroyer event and some epic Orr events! Enjoy! (also video is only 1hr 19 min, not 2hr plus)
