Fields of Ruin – Level 30-40
The Fields of Ruin holds the location of a prominent feature of human and charr lore, Ebonhawke. A fortress built over 200 years ago, it is the last remaining outpost of ascalonians. Mighty gates that have been shut for so long against charr forces are now open for all races to come and go.
Most characters will arrive at the Fields of Ruin through an asuran gate in Ebonhawke that is permanently attuned to a gate in Divinity’s Reach. Ebonhawke site in the southwest corner of Fields of Ruin. Dignitaries fro both human and charr work on the truce between the races. The area has groups of separatist from both races working to break the truce.
Orges besiege outpost in the southeast portion of the map while harpies cause conflict in the northeast. The dragonband cuts through the northwest corner of the Fields of Ruin, left behind from the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik’s flight and branded creatures roam it. It the far northen corner a secluded glen is hidden within the brand that is the burial site of a hero from Tyria’s recent past, Killeen.
Two roads on the northern border lead to Blazeridge Steppes, while on the southern border near Ebonhawke is a locked gate leading to the Crystal Desert.

Help the people of Ebonhawke (30) – Tear down Separatist propaganda, talk down sympathizers, and knock on doors to find potential Separatist hideouts.
Help Foreman Boslo care for Blackwing Excavation (31) – Motivate workers and remove dangers from the work site.
Help Commander Varalyn and the Ebon Vanguard (31) Train with soldiers, kill skritt, and help repair equipment.
Harass the ogres of Foulbear Krall (33) – Kill ogres and their pets, and sabotage their supplies.
Hold back the insurrectionists. (33) – Fight the Renegades and Separatists in the area and destroy their equipment. Disarm unexploded shells and mines.
Help pacify Tyler’s Bivouac for settlers. (34) – Clear out predators and Separatists near Tyler’s Bivouac.
Support the human delegation. (35) – Keep the camp safe, discover spies, and remove the wasps.
Assist the charr delegation. (36) – Kill separatists, rally the disgrunted soldiers, train with the troops, and repair the charr mines and mortar protecting the camp.
Help Rosko’s Ranchers. (37) – Defend the village and cattle from the harpies, keep the restless bulls in line and drive the harpies from the area.
Help the Iron Legion disrupt Renegade supplies, and uncover intel. (38) – Free Renegade prisoners, destroy Renegade supplies, and uncover intel.
Contain the growth of the Dragonbrand. (39) – Consult Sentinel Gristletooth. Destroy Branded creatures, nests, and crystal clusters.
Aid the researchers in their study of the Brand. (40) – Test branded samples at capsitors and water samplers and destroy branded creatures that might disrupt the experiments.
Help Sentinels instigate fights between ghosts and the Branded. (42)
