Guild Wars 2 is filled with massive enemies and epic events to undertake, but knowing when those events are going to happen can be tricky. Three of the biggest events in the entire game are The Shatterer, Tequatl the Sunless, and the Claw of Jormag! These three dragons require a large group of players, being aware of what’s going on around you, and a bit of coordination. They’re basically like raids, but in the world and anyone is free to join.
Recently a new site popped up with the goal of tracking when these bosses will spawn so that you can participate in these amazing events. The process is simple:
- Go to gw2spawns.herokuapp.com
- Select which server you’re playing on
- Check the time the next event should spawn
- ???
- Profit
The site is dependent upon players reporting when a boss was last killed so that it can calculate the next spawn time, but as more and more players begin using this resource the information can be made readily available to everyone.

None of the times thus far posted on that site for my server have been accurate.
@Miixxu Hey! I wrote the app. :) It only works if users submit the death times! If someone accidentally posts in their time instead of server time there can be an issue. To overcome that simply post the time you killed it, and vote for it! Boss Spawn will list all of the times people submitted, how many votes they have, AND it will use the death time with the most votes to calculate the respawn time! It has the proper respawn rates/ranges so as long as users submit an accurate death time it will work.
It would mean a lot to me if you tried it out on your server and tell me what you think of it then.
meh, only US Servers :(
@solariz Hi! I am the one who wrote the app, and I just added the EU servers! :D I am still trying to get someone on an EU server to confirm exactly what their SERVER timezone is, so if you can tell me that I can add your server in literally seconds!
Thanks!
@jensechu @solariz EU Most servers are GMT+1, current German time you can find here:
http://solariz.de/ger_time.php
But I found a similar page for German servers: http://www.gw2events.de/gw2_wbi/overview.php
@solariz @jensechu THANK YOU!!!! I will add them when I get back from an errand!!! You have done your server a great service today. ;p
Thanks a bunch.
@jensechu @solariz ok, while my local time is displaying 10:24 the server time is displaying 1:24
@solariz @jensechu f you go to your settings you can set the minimap to show local or server time! If that fails then just ask the zone you're in what time it is, and if it's the same time as your local time then you win. :)Thanks a *bunch* for getting back to me. Seriously every EU server is waiting on your reply. :p
@jensechu @solariz Is there a difference between the server time and the time displayed in the minimap area ? Where to get the server time ? If this is the time in the Minimap its exactly my local time.
@solariz @jensechu Hmm I am hesitant to believe that only because I've had other EU people tell me that their server time was also Pacific. Would you mind logging in and just telling me what time it is for you RIGHT NOW in server time? Also your server.
That's an okay site, but it's lacking some stuff. And it's not open source haha. I can add your server when I get your server time/name. :)
