One of the things we’ve discussed behind the scenes for a long time is the creation of a GWI guild. We want it to be a place where staff members, GW2 fanatics, and those completely new to the game can come together, have fun, and make the most out of the game. Our goal is to make an unbiased guild that teaches new players, welcomes all kinds, and caters to a variety of play styles (Casual / Hardcore / PvP / PVE / WvW). Obviously the guild will have the full backing of GWI in terms of exposure, in guild contests, and events, but on top of all that, we believe that a GWI guild should be run by members of the community, not solely by those who staff the site.
This week we’ll be opening up a thread on our forums for those who would like to join us in creating something new. Let us know if you would like to join or what you think makes a great guild.
