For those of you new to Guild Wars 2, one of the great things about this MMO is the developer’s use of the environment itself as a “side quest” so to speak. These puzzles, scattered throughout Tyria, may lead to hidden mini bosses, loot, vistas, or the occasional skill point. In the end, no matter what the reward, players always feel a sense of accomplishment… especially for those extremely difficult ones.
Located in the southeastern section of the Plains of Ashford, the Loreclaw Expanse jumping puzzle is considered one of the more difficult secret areas. Due to the amount of traps, difficult plank jumps, and the constant threat of falling rocks, it can be a relentless beast for those not too familiar with the z-axis.
After the break, we’ll show you three different attempts at completing the Loreclaw Expanse puzzle. Be forewarned, the following videos may contain elements of frustration and frequent encounters with a little thing we like to call “gravity”.
