I'm not the first fan site to have these images, I'm simply reposting them here because they have been found elsewhere. I have had images mailed to me in private that I HAVE NOT LEAKED, out of trust to the developer. You do realize these were found on other sites right?

I, for one, appreciate the re-posting as I didn't see them anywhere else. I'm also of the opinion that once an info is out, it's out and nothing is going to stop it from spreading. I'm impressed with the quality of the graphics, even though it seems obvious the sliders were not on maximum, these screenshots, especially the top right one, trounce every other MMO on the market right there. I also believe the guy who said this looked like an Asian F2P MMO should go buy new glasses.

We have to allow for personal taste, for sure, but I'd still recommend you see an optometrist a.s.a.p. if you think those look like shots from a F2P game. The top right image has to be one of the most impressive screen caps I've ever seen from an MMORPG. Make sure to check it out at full resolution. The texture on the walls is very high resolution and well done, while they definitely captured the "painterly aesthetic" they've talked about so muck. It looks like the character is about to walk down the street and smoothly transition into a very detailed painting. I'm blown away by it.

I also think it was wrong for Seven to publish these images, regardless of where they originated from. I actually feel this was a cheap attempt to draw ahead of other Guild Wars (2) fansites in regards to content relating to the beta.

The screens have been posted on other fan sites and forums. I talked with ArenaNet when the Mesmer video was leaked, and the response was once it's out, it's out. Posting is fine.

I agree, Xav! These screens should be taken down immediately. Not only is it disrespectuful to the people who work hard to make the game this site is dedicated to, but it's also just a cheap publicity grab. That is Fox News territory, not what we would expect from a GW fan site.

There's a big difference between leaking the information, and simply reposting what is already bouncing around the web. Of course we hold the highest respect for ArenaNet, none of the leaks actually spoil any information that they haven't already talked about or were not wanting the public to know about.

I completely understand Seven's point. ArenaNet said its okay once its out there and in no way should he feel ethically hindered in re-posting this. However Seven, I think out little GWI community is expressing their conflicted feelings with these shots on the site. Even though we have the ability to publish it doesn't mean we have to or even should. Of course I will stand by GWI forever!

Well I do understand them, they've been working hard on the game and want to release stuff to their schedule, and leakers usually ruin that. While I am happy for news and any kind of screenies, I'm not really that much for leakers, they trusted them to play the game and they abused that trust.

Agree, i could have waited till tomorrow to get all of this, leakers went through trouble for a matter of 1 day :(
