In the original Guild Wars game when you were out and about in the world you could visit a statue dedicated to one of the give gods of the humans and receive a buff. ArenaNet appears to have carried this tradition into Guild Wars 2 and it is possible to receive random boons when kneeling in front of a shrine, statue, or other representations of the gods and spirits of Tyria.
Some have speculated that this would only work for the humans and the norn as the sylvari, charr, and asura don’t worship gods in the same way. However as you can see in the video below when an asura uses /kneel in front of a Wolf Shrine he will receive the swiftness boon for 3 minutes.
What do you think? Could the sylvari kneel before the Pale Tree? Would the asura honor the Eternal Alchemy in some way? Share your thoughts in the comments or in our forums.
