Redforward.com has a beautiful interview with the former Guild Wars 2 Concept Art Lead Kekai Kotaki. The interview contains some of his best pieces both from Guild Wars and other projects he’s worked on. The questions focus on the creative process and challenges. When asked if it was difficult to balance art with production timelines he responded:
Sometimes. The fact that we as professionals have to make such decisions may be lost on the general audience. At some point you need to get the job done and leave the ego at the door.
This interview also reveals Kotaki’s newly acquired position as the Lead Concept Artist for Bungie. When you combine this new information with the conspiracy theories about Bungie and Blizzard working on a project together this adds up to some amazing possibilities. Put your tinfoil hats on and post your wild conspiracies in the comment section below.

I'm going to say something daring!
Starcraft: Ghost!
Ghost was still on the backburner for blizz and bungie has a background in a stealthy shooter (Oni). How can you make a shooter stand apart? Make it NOT hyper realistic. Kekai's art style is gritty but not super realistic. Its in a believable world of its own.
World of Halocraft: Heart of the Flood? Just sayin'.
