This week I share with you 5 structured pvp games played as warrior and the major warrior changes from the last beta weekend.

The warrior wasn’t the target of too many changes for this previous beta weekend. Overall, the gameplay feeling and purpose were the same as before. Among the largest changes, the warrior has a bleed build available now with the sword changes. I definitely missed many changes here, as a weekend was just not enough to grab every information, but the rest of this post summarizes many of the larger Warrior-related changes you should be aware of.

I) Traits changes

The tiered traits brought many changes and here is a recap.

  • Strength traits

No changes to minor traits

Tier 1
Death from above : Falling damage reduced by 50%
Restorative strength
Great fortitude : 5% power added to vitality
Short temper : Might (15sec) and one strike of adrenaline each time you are blocked
Berserker’s power
Powerful banners

Tier 2
(NEW) Distracting Strikes : Confusion when you interrupt an enemy
Weapon Specialization
Slashing Power : Now 10%
Physical Training : 100% damage and 20% cooldown reduction of physicals utilities

Tier 3
Axe Mastery : +10% axe crit damage
(NEW) Victorious Might : 5 Might (10sec) when you kill an enemy

  • Arms traits

No changes to minor traits

II) Right bar changes (Heal/utility/ultimate)

- Banners :

Discipline grants 80 precision and 10% crit damage

Strength grants 80 power and 80 condition damage

Defense grants 80 toughness and 80 vitality

Tactics grants 80 healing power and 10% boons duration

- Frenzy doesn’t grant crit damage anymore.

- Battle standard grants 4 might (10sec)

III) Weapons changes

I have only seen one change: the sword adrenaline ability now applies 8 bleeds during 2 sec added to direct damage. The warrior now have the opportunity to play with condition damage.
